This two day clinic is intended to build on foundational climbing skills and introduce skills and techniques for climbing steep ice, building anchors, and placing ice screws. Participants should expect to practice good belay technique, refine skills such as ice tool and crampon mechanics, practice efficient body positioning, and learn how to build ice anchors and place ice screws both on and off the ground.
